ABOUT ME 

If given the option between sleeping and playing the drums, you can bet on me choosing the latter each and every time. For the majority of my life, I have been connected to music. I was introduced to music at an early age through my mother, father, brother, and many relatives near and far.  My passion for good  music continues to burn intensely. Growing up I studied and admired the craftsmanship,  dedication, excellence, and creativity of my eldest brother, DeJuan Jackson, as he worked diligently to perfect his skill on the drums. Losing my brother in 2010 ignited something in me, driving me to dream and work harder.  Today, I continue to follow the blueprint DeJuan laid for me many years ago.  I have played for countless churches, groups, bands, and  artists like Bryan Lee, Gabrielle Hights, Dathan Thigpen to name a few. Bringing my own  unique sound and energy to every music collaboration and opportunity I encounter.  Many  who know me often say my personality gets to the room before I do. It is that  same personality that makes every room I step into come alive. There’s a number of career  paths and other opportunities I could have chased, but if I had to hit the reset button  on life and start all over again...I'm choosing my drumsticks every time.
